Why we're here

It was a passion for the iconic black and white images of the pioneering American photographer Ansel Adams that was my inspiration. These images with their tonality and depth fuelled my love of this art form.

It was whilst living in London that I seized the opportunity to channel this passion and enrolled on a 3 year artistic photography course.

Film was my master and the darkroom my mistress.

The development and progression of digital photography has created new avenues to explore and new ways to capture those amazing moments in time.

The principles - whether it be film or digital - remain unchanged.

Compose, expose and capture.

Producing an amazing image for all to see still sends shivers down my spine.
